The History of HAZTEAM
The History of HAZTEAM
 HAZTEAM is a multi-national online gaming community consisting of a hand-picked group of people that gather online to play multi-player games. These people are not only the most skilled players, but also the most fun, honorable, and respected and have kept the HAZTEAM name one that is known throughout many lobbies and games.
In July of 2001 HT was created as a combination of our Founder Nymesis' two favorite hobbies; SWAT3 and Star Trek. HT was visualized with the concepts of courtesy, friendship, honor, chain of command, skill and last but certainly not least, FUN.
Shortly thereafter, he and Terminator began work on hazteam.net and in July, HAZTEAM was born with 5 members, now known as Memory Alpha Five. Over the first year and a half, HT created a huge reputation for itself in the online community of SWAT3, nearly dominating all social and gameplay competition.
During the last few months of 2002 and into 2003, the popularity of SWAT3 underwent a major decrease and the HT empire shortly
followed. In mid 2003, HT re-energized it's members to continue the goals the team was first created to achieve. During this period, HT was back full force in not one, but many games across the internet, looking to expand our skills further.
Meanwhile, the team expanded into America's Army, Halo, Renegade, SWAT4, Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Guild Wars and City of Villains.
In early 2009, Nymesis and Terminator turned over administrative and operational control over to AJZ.
Present day, HAZTEAM sails into the future with optimism and determination to uphold Nymesis' original ideals set out in 2001.
